The Story
On September 29, we brought together founders, investors, and members of the Bay Area innovation community in San Francisco for the Future of Healthtech × AI: One Way Pitch Competition.
The competition drew 100+ applications. From those, 12 finalists were invited, and 11 took the stage for a rapid-fire format: a 2-minute pitch followed by 2 minutes of Q&A.
It was energizing to see so many founders, investors, scientists, and supporters of innovation in one room, all pushing health, biotechnology, and AI forward.
Congratulations to Our Top Three
🥇 1st Place: TriasBio, presented by Helene Borrmann
TriasBio is developing AI-enabled approaches to improve drug discovery and development, with the goal of making the path from biological insight to new therapeutics more efficient.
🥈 2nd Place: Rubitection, presented by Sanna Gaspard, PhD
Rubitection is developing technology to improve skin-health assessment and monitoring, with a focus on earlier, more objective detection of conditions such as pressure injuries.
🥉 3rd Place: the bioforge, presented by Keerthi Prasad Venkataramanan
the bioforge is building technology at the intersection of biology and engineering to accelerate biological experimentation and enable more efficient R&D.
